How can you help?
Here are a few opportunities available now at Catholic Charities...

Engaged Encounter
Many people are involved in putting on a weekend. The most visible of these are the presenting teams who present and facilitate the weekend. But if that's not your strength, there are many other ways to get involved. Presenting on an Engaged Encounter weekend is not just a way to help the engaged...it's also a way to enrich your own marriage.

Christmas Store
Each Christmas, Catholic Charities sponsors a giving program which pairs families in need with individuals, groups or businesses, who "adopt" a family's Christmas wish list. Those who choose to "adopt" the family(ies) are provided with specific information regarding clothing needs and sizes, as well as toys and household items that the family wants or needs. Each year over 200 families are blessed by the generosity of others through this program.  Our program is unique in its mission to provide Christmas assistance that addresses the needs of the whole family, rather than just the children.

Garden Patch
Garden Patch is an annual summer program that reaches out to low-income people, mostly senior citizens, in the Evansville area. Gardeners and farmers from Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, and Warrick counties bring their surplus vegetables and fruits to three locations in Evansville for distribution. The Garden Patch usually operates for five or six weeks each summer, depending on available produce.
